The College and Career-Ready Policy Institute (CCRPI) is a partnership between the state of Minnesota and five national groups that are charged with aligning Minnesota's education policies to ensure that all students graduate from high school ready for postsecondary education and/or a career. The five groups are Achieve, the Education Counsel, the Data Quality Campaign, Jobs for the Future and the National Governor’s Association Center for Best Practices.
The CCRPI partners have reviewed Minnesota policies and identified five reform goals, including "redesigning Minnesota's dual credit policies to become nation-leading and world-competing." Several working groups, comprised of leaders from K-12, higher education, business and industry and other key stakeholders, have been convened provide recommendations regarding this goal and other CCRPI goals. Susan Henderson, College in the Schools at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and Cyndy Crist, Office of the Chancellor, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are members of two of the work groups.
